Sanding mill machine processing efficiency and line speed
- Nov 07, 2018 -

The linear speed of the sander mill machine, which is what we often call the sander speed, has no effect on the grinding efficiency of the sander.

Let's take a look at the calculation of the wire speed of the sander. The linear velocity of the grinding medium movement is different at different positions inside the sander cylinder. The linear velocity at the center of the shaft is the smallest, and the linear velocity of the cylinder wall is the largest. The linear velocity at any point between the two can be used as follows. Formula to represent

First, the speed at which any point on the object makes a circular motion on the fixed axis is called "linear velocity." Its general definition is the instantaneous speed at which a particle (or a point on an object) makes a curve motion (including a circular motion). Its direction is along the tangential direction of the moving track, so it is also called the tangential speed. It is the physical quantity that describes the speed and direction of particle motion for curve motion. The instantaneous velocity of each point on the object as a curve motion, the direction of which is along the tangential direction of the motion track.

Line speed V = 2πωr (unit: m / s)

Π-piule; ω-sand mill shaft speed (unit: rev / sec); R - the linear distance from the point to the center of the shaft in the cylinder, equivalent to the radius.

Example: There is a horizontal sand mill with a speed of 1200 rpm, that is, 20 rev / sec. The diameter of the grinding disc in the cylinder is 30 cm, that is, the straight line distance from the arbitrary point on the circumference of the grinding disc to the center of the shaft is 0.15 m. The maximum linear velocity is V = 2 × 3.1416 × 20 × 0.15 m / s = 18.85 m / s. The linear speed of the sander we usually refer to is the linear speed of the machine grinding disc.

Finally, we look at the relationship between the linear speed of the sander and the grinding efficiency. The higher the line speed of the sander, the greater the kinetic energy transmitted to the beads and the higher the efficiency of the sander. But the wire speed of the sander is not the higher, of course, is not the disadvantage of the wire speed of the sander is too high? :

A, the higher the line speed, the greater the heat, the faster the machine heats up, and most materials are temperature limited.

B, the higher the line speed, the greater the impact on the grinding media of the sander, and the grinding medium is likely to be broken.

C, the higher the line speed, the greater the damage to the machine, the increased wear of the parts, and the higher material requirements for the manufacturing machine.

The linear speed of the sander is generally between 9-12m / s. The really effective grinding area of the sander is a narrow area between the grinding disc and the wall of the barrel, and other parts are heating zones. Therefore, the most efficient horizontal sand mill uses the appropriate line speed to concentrate the grinding media in the effective grinding work area (Dongguan Yuling's rod-type ceramic ink special sand mill is high efficiency type). At present, the sanding machines of various horizontal sand mill manufacturers have different line speeds, and the grinding efficiency is also different. The most important factor is determined by the quality of the material used in the machine and the strength of the grinding media used.
